A skill declares its scope, visibility (public/private), pricing (free/paid), status (dev/live) and version in a manifest.

Key points
- The manifest is the contract between creator, platform and installer.
- Versioning lets installed skills be updated without breaking scope.
- Paid commerce (W5) is planned — pricing metadata exists, checkout does not.
Hands-on exercise: Ship a manifest
- Draft a SKILL.md with name, scope, inputs, risk tier and version.
- Publish it as private/dev first, then promote to live.
